High Intensity Conditioning For Adults

Description

The Sports Center is offering a High Intensity Conditioning program for adults 18 years of age and older. The training program will focus on speed, explosiveness, agility, core strength, and endurance. Most of the workouts will use the participants own body weight. Some equipment, such as medicine balls, may be used. Sports Center staff will be tracking partipants progress and documenting improvement throughout the conditioning course.

Dates

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, August 1 through August 19 (three week program).

Time

5:30–6:30pm.

Cost

Free for members.

Sports Conditioning Camp For Youth

Description

Sports Conditioning Camp will provide young athletes with a summer-long training program to increase endurance, build strength, and improve agility. Drills targeting each athletes’ core muscles will improve flexibility and balance. Camp will also feature guest athletes and speakers to talk about nutrition and playing college level sports. All sports are welcome.

Please note that this is not a skills camp, and that we will be conducting an application and interview process prior to the start of the program to assess each youth’s goals and fitness level.

Dates

Monday, June 27 through Thursday, August 18 (Closed on Monday July 4 and Monday July 25). Group One meets Monday and Wednesdays. Group Two meets Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Time

12:00 to 3:00pm.

Cost

$50 for members or $80 for non-members. $25 for each additional youth after the first for members, $40 for each additional youth after the first for non-members (youth must be in the same family).
