The 2010 Induction Ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 25. Between 10,000 and 60,000 fans have gathered on the Sports Center lawn to watch the Ceremony in years past. Be sure to arrive early to claim your spot by walking to the Sports Center from parking locations within town. Vendors will be at the ceremony selling water and other refreshments. The Clark Sports Center is located at 124 County Highway 52, Cooperstown, New York, 13326, one mile southeast from the center of the Village of Cooperstown.
This year's inductees will be Andre Dawson, manager Whitey Herzog, and umpire Doug Harvey. Andre led all eligable players with 420 votes (77.9%), achieving the 75% required for election. For a complete rundown on the 2010 BBWAA Election, visit the Hall Of Fame's election news page.
