The Sports Center will be closed Saturday, May 23–Monday, May 25 for the Hall of Fame Classic Game and Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at 5:30am.

Waterfront Lifeguard Training • Register at the Main Desk with a $50 deposit by May 22. $175 for members or $300 for non-members. Class takes place June 1–4, 5:00–9:00pm, June 7, 8:00am–5:00pm and June 8–11, 5:00–9:00pm. Attendance is required at ALL classes. Includes certification for First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Waterfront Lifeguard.
BASE Race • Saturday, May 23. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, along with Cooperstown’s Clark Sports Center, will present the third annual BASE Race charity runs – a 5k fun run beginning at 8:15am, and competitive 10k beginning at 8:00am. Each registered runner will receive a T-shirt (for the first 300 runners to register), goodie bag, a free general admission ticket to the Hall of Fame Classic and an admission ticket to the Museum valid on May 23.
Learn to Climb Outdoor Series • Each Saturday in May, the Adventure Department is offering a series of seminars focusing on different components of outdoor climbing. Members only. Saturday, May 23, will focus on self rescue, and efficient movement in steeper terrain. Meet at Moss Island in Little Falls at 10:00am. No transportation provided. Students interested under the age of 16 must be directly supervised by an adult.
Summer Swim Lesson Registration • Members only. Registration for both Preschool & School Age Lessons runs ends May 29. Sign up in the Pool Office. Summer Lessons run June 29–August 7.
Kid's Triathlon Club Race • Saturday, May 30, starting at 10:00am. Boys and girls ages 7–14 have been practicing the competitive aspects of swimming, biking, running, and transitions. In event of poor weather, the race will be rescheduled for Thursday, June 4.
Boys & Girls High School Hoops • Registration ends June 1. $250 per team. The Boy's League will take place on Wednesdays, June 17–August 5. The Girl's League will take place on Mondays, June 15–August 10.
FREE Outdoor Community Movie Night • Friday, June 12, the movie McFarland, USA (Released 2015, 129mins, Rated PG) will be featured outside the Sports Center! The movie is free to the community; all you need to bring are chairs or a blanket, and don't forget the snacks! Youth under 18 must have a parent sign in and leave an emergency contact number. Children below the age of 10 must have a parent with them. Movies start promptly at 8:30pm (dark).

Members and guests using the Sports Center facilities are required to have a signed waiver form on file. A parent or legal guardian must sign the form for youths under 18.
