Kid's Rock Wall Olympics • Saturday, April 18. Rules will begin at 3:00pm with the competition immediately following. Events include: Timed Climbing Races, Dyno Jump Competition, Your Hardest Route, Push Up Competition, Modified Pull Up Competition, Timed Hang, Penny Traverse, Rollies, Balloon Carry, and Blind Fold Climbing. Register at the Main Desk. $5 for members, non-members must pay for a Day Pass.
Brooks BBQ Fundraiser • Friday, April 24. Orders taken until 9:00am on Friday, April 24. Chicken Dinner $12, Chicken Half $6, Pork Rib Dinner $15, Pork Ribs $10. Pick up in the Sports Center Conference Room 3:00-6:00pm. Proceeds to benefit Child Abuse Awareness / Prevention. Fundraiser is open to staff and members. Orders can be placed at the Front Desk by filling out an order form. Payment must accompany the order form.
Pitch, Hit & Run Competition • The Clark Sports Center will be hosting a free Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth on Saturday, April 25, starting at 2:00pm. Open to boys and girls, ages 7-14. *All participants must provide a copy of a valid birth certificate for age verification at all levels of competition* Download the 2015 Official Registration Form (PDF, 968kb).
Squash Club Championships • Sign up today at the Fitness Center Desk for the 2015 Squash Club Championships on April 26.
Wednesday Recreation Softball League • Begins Wednesday, April 29, 6:00–9:00pm. Ages 18+, coed, 8 teams max. A meeting will take place on April 22.
Outdoor Community Ropes Course • Thursday, April 30. 4:00–7:00pm. Sign up at the Main Desk. Must be 12 years of age or older. Meet in the Main Lobby. Free for members, $20 for non-members
Boys & Girls High School Hoops • Registration runs May 1–June 1. $250 per team. The Boy's League will take place on Wednesdays, June 17–August 5. The Girl's League will take place on Mondays, June 15–August 10.
Learn to Climb Outdoor Series • Each Saturday in May, the Adventure Department is offering a series of seminars focusing on different components of outdoor climbing. Members only. May 2 will teach the basics, belaying, basic knots, and movement focus on foot work. Meet at Moss Island in Little Falls at 10:00am. No transportation provided. Students interested under the age of 16 must be directly supervised by an adult.
Council Rock to Council Rock Run • Sunday, May 3 starting at 1:00pm. The 4.4 mile race will start at Council Rock Park and end at Council Rock Brewery. Proceeds from the race will go to the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team. Register online or at the Clark Sports Center.
Summer Camps • Member registration for Sports Camps will begin on Monday, May 4 at the Main Desk. Member registration for Adventure Camps will begin on Saturday, May 9 at 8:00am in the Conference Room. Non-member registration for both Sports and Adventure Camps will begin Saturday, May 16 at 8:00am at the Main Desk.
