About The Race
This race is held in memory of all the heroes that lost their lives on 9/11, and in honor of all that still answer the call. It takes countless hours of training and dedication to volunteer on your local Fire/EMS Department. Not only do they drop everything as soon as the alarm sounds, they also risk personal injury on every call. It is an unselfish service that they provide with little acknowledgment. Let’s recognize these volunteer first responders by supporting the 9/11 Hero 5k!
Your registration will go directly to to the agency for equipment and safety gear needed to protect themselves while helping you. This year’s race will support the Fly Creek Fire and EMS Department so please come and show you care.
