American Red Cross Lifeguard Training with Waterfront Course
Monday, February 18 – Friday, February 22 • 9:00am–5:00pm with lunch break
Fee (includes $50 non-refundable deposit): $275 for members or $350 for non-members.

Course includes American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer and American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding Module
Participants must be at least 15 years of age (Proof of age required on First day). Participants must pass the prerequisite skills on the first day.
These skills are the following:
- Continuous 550 yard (22 lengths/ 11 laps) swim, with a combination of Front Crawl and Breaststroke.
- Tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands.
- Swim 25 yards, retrieve a brick from 8 ft. swim 25 yards on your back with the brick, and exit the pool with the brick in 1 minute and 40 seconds.
- Swim 5 yards, submerge, and swim 15 yards underwater retrieving 3 rings placed 5 yards apart. Surface and swim the remaining 5 yards with the ring.
Participants must attend all classes. Participants must complete all skills competently, and pass the written exams with a score of 80% or higher.
