Race Date
Our 9th annual race will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022. The race starts at 10:00am. Day of race check-in and registration will take place from 8:30–9:30am.

The race will take place at the Fly Creek Fire Department (832 County Highway 26, Fly Creek, NY 13337).

Individual 5k registration by September 9: $20
Individual 10k registration by September 9: $20
Fire/EMS/Police 5k registration by September 9: $15 (must show ID).
Fire/EMS/Police 10k registration by September 9: $15 (must show ID).
Fire/EMS/Police 5k TEAM (min. 4 people) registration by September 9: $60 (must show ID).
Day-of registration increases by $5.

About The Race
This race is held in memory of all the heroes that lost their lives on 9/11, and in honor of all that still answer the call. It takes countless hours of training and dedication to volunteer on your local Fire/EMS Department. Not only do they drop everything as soon as the alarm sounds, they also risk personal injury on every call. It is an unselfish service that they provide with little acknowledgment. Let’s recognize these volunteer first responders by supporting the 9/11 Hero 5k!
Proceeds from the race will go directly to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation operates as a non-profit organization.
