Race Date
Our 2nd annual race will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The race starts at 9:00am. The race ends at Saturday, October 10 at 5:00pm.
We are very excited to continue our collaboration with the Super Heroes Humane Society with our 2nd annual Trailwagger Race on October 10, 2026. No cars to worry about and racers will be treated to beautiful fall colors. This race will be lots of fun in an absolutely beautiful state park. A portion of the funds from the event will support the Super Heroes Humane Society.
Race Location
All races take place at Gilbert Lake State Park, 790 County Route 12, Laurens, NY 13796.
- The 3-mile run/walk takes place on some paved roads in the park and also on the trails.
- Our 5-mile run/walk is mostly trail running, and you get to see a couple of the ponds and creeks on the grounds.
- If 5 miles isn’t long enough, you can combine the 5-mile with the 3-mile and see 8 miles of the park’s trails by signing up for a two-person team.

The event offers different divisions, so there is something for every level!
- Individual “Loop the Lake” Dog Walk registration received on or before October 9: $35
- 4-Member Family “Loop the Lake” Dog Walk registration received on or before October 9: $100
- 3-Mile Trailwagger registration received on or before October 9: $35
- 5-Mile Trailwagger registration received on or before October 9: $35
- 8-Mile Trailwagger registration received on or before October 9: $45
- 8-Mile Trailwagger Team registration received on or before October 9: $60
Register by September 27 for an exclusive event t-shirt! All pups will receive a bandana to match the event shirt.
Race Registration
Participants can register online. Day of race check-in and day of race registration is available at 9:30am.
Race Waiver Form
All runners must have a Clark Sports Center waiver form on file. Children 18 and under must have this waiver signed by a parent. Waivers will be available on at the race or can be downloaded and printed from our site.
Race Awards
Awards will be distributed to the overall best male and female times.
