2018 Monster Bench Press Competition

Competition Date

The competition will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018. The competition starts at 10:30am.

Competition Location

The event is held on the Gym Floor at The Clark Sports Center, 124 County Route 52, Cooperstown, New York, 13326.

Competition Cost

Individual registration received on or before Friday, April 6: $30 for one class, $40 for two classes

Individual registration on Saturday, April 7: $50

The first 50 entrants who pre-register by March 14 will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Shirts will be available for purchase for entrants registering on the day of the competition (if available).

Competition Registration

Lifters may weigh-in 10:00am-6:00pm on Friday, April 6, in the main building at the Sports Center. Weigh-ins and registration on the day of the competition, April 7, will begin at 9:00am. A rules review will take place at 10:00am. Competition will begin at approximately 10:30am.

Competition Waiver Form

All runners must have a Clark Sports Center waiver form on file. Children 18 and under must have this waiver signed by a parent. Waivers will be available on at the competition or can be downloaded and printed from our site.

Competition Awards

Award winners will be announced shortly after the last finisher. The Awards Ceremony will take place on the Gym Floor.

Men’s Division

Ages: Pre-Teen, Teen, Open, 37-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Weight: Under 132lbs., 133-148 lbs., 149-165 lbs., 166-185 lbs., 186-215 lbs., 216-235 lbs., 236-265 lbs., 266-285 lbs., Heavyweight (286-299lbs..,) and Super Heavyweight (over 300 lbs.)

Women’s Division

Ages: Pre-Teen, Teen, Open, 37-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Weight: Under 114lbs., 115-132lbs., 133-150lbs., 151-175 lbs., 176-198 lbs., 199-215 lbs., Heavyweight (216-225lbs.) and Super Heavyweight (over 226lbs.)
