2008 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The 2008 Induction Ceremony was held on Sunday, July 27, 2008 with approximately 14,000 attending. The inductees included pitcher Rich “Goose” Gossage and manager Dick Williams. Mariners announcer Dave Niehaus was presented with the 2008 Ford C. Frick Award; Larry Whiteside of the Boston Globe was awarded with the 2008 J.G. Taylor Spink Award.
